A “boutique” University in the heart of Warsaw

The intimate nature of the university favors the creation of a harmonious academic community. Classes are held in small groups, and students enjoy a friendly atmosphere and individual approach on the part of the university’s lecturers and administration.

The European University of Business has alumni all around the globe who have benefited from the high quality teaching and research at the University. Our professors are experts in their field and are joined by visiting professors from the UK, the USA and the EU. The University was established in 2001 and since inception we have been educating students and actively engaged in research. We have been developing highly skilled graduates, supporting careers and employment, and contributing to the national and international economy. The University is registered under the register No.221 of the Non-Public Universities, the Ministry of Education and Science, Poland.

In 2015, the University established an Education Centre in Berlin, Germany as its foreign affiliate. The Berlin Centre’s role is to represent the University in Germany and to promote its Warsaw-based academic programmes to German students. It facilitates the University’s on-going activities, such as information sessions, ERASMUS exchanges and consultation meetings, as well as providing training courses. The Berlin Centre has been confirmed by the Senatsverwaltung für Bildung, Jugend und Wissenschaft (German Senate Department for Education, Youth and Science).

Our diverse and capable student populations are benefiting from innovative learning and visits to major cities around the EU. Our objective is to produce students with employment skills and research capability through integrating our expertise and experience with periods in industry to demonstrate the real benefits of graduate’s application of knowledge. The courses have been tailored to the needs of industry and business.

Prof. dr. Jan Nowak
Professor Nowak holds a Ph.D. in organisation and management from the University of Warsaw. He has over 40 years of academic and administrative experience with higher-education institutions in Asia, Europe, North America and Oceania. He has held the positions of Assistant Dean, Director of MBA Programmes, Director of Management Training Centres, Academic Area Coordinator and Faculty Chair. Among HE institutions, he has worked for the University of Warsaw in Poland, University of New Brunswick in Canada, University of the South Pacific in the Fiji Islands and Central European University in Hungary. Dr Nowak specialises in marketing and international business, the areas in which he teaches and conducts research, executive training and consulting. His publication record includes 5 books, over 80 papers in refereed international journals and conference proceedings, and numerous cases, book chapters and reports.

Vice-Rector for Education and Research
Prof. dr. Mostefa Ider
Dr Ider holds a Ph.D. from Laval University, Canada. Apart from his Vice-Rector position at European University of Business, he is Professor of Strategic Management at Wroclaw University of Economics and Lecturer at Collegium Civitas. He is former Director of the MBA Programs, Director of the Department of Management & Organisation and Senior Advisor in Strategic Planning and Business Development to the Rector at PWSBiA. Professor Ider is a recipient of several Best Paper awards at international conferences, including one for the whole conference. Former Professor at many Polish universities, including Warsaw University, Kraków University of Economics and University of Białystok, he has also visited many foreign universities in Germany, Russia, Kazakhstan, Qatar, India, Latvia. He has served as President of a Training and Consulting Company associated with J P Mergers and Finance in Germany.
